October Luncheon - Nellie Bly: A One Woman Show

Performer Biography: Mary Hobein has worked as an actor and singer with numerous performance organizations in the Chicago area, including Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, Main Street Opera, Tellin’ Tales Theatre, Three Brothers Theatre, Red Twist Theatre, and Stage Right Dinner Theatre. Favorite roles include the Wigmaker in Rashomon, Edie Boggs in Too Soon For Daisies, Mistress Page in The Merry Wives Of Windsor, and Hermia in Dead Man’s Cell Phone. She has written and performed several one-woman shows, and has portrayed historical characters such as Dolley Madison, Amelia Earhart, Nellie Bly, and opera singer Geraldine Farrar. Her credits also include voice over, storytelling, and dramaturgy.
